AI Workshops in Miami for Small Business & Nonprofit Teams
From AI curiosity to real work, done faster.
A hands-on workshop for Miami small business teams and nonprofits. Your staff learns to use ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini on the work that actually fills their week — not theoretical examples, not slide decks. One session. Immediate results.
Recent engagements across the U.S.
Four concrete outcomes. Not “AI awareness.” Not vibes.
A working mental model of AI
Beyond the headlines, beyond the hype. What these tools actually are, what they’re good at, and where they’ll embarrass you if you let them. The grounding everything else builds on.
The SMART prompting framework
A repeatable five-step method for asking AI for things in a way that gets useful answers on the first try. Set, Make, Architect, Refine, Tighten — on a one-pager they take home.
2–3 real use cases for their actual job
They build prompts during the session on tasks that actually fill their week — not contrived demos. They leave with a prompt library ready to use Monday morning.
Confidence to start using it this week
The biggest blocker isn’t capability — it’s the “where do I even start” wall. By the end of the workshop, that wall is gone. People know the next move when they sit back down at their desk.
Your team stops being afraid of the blinking cursor — and starts treating AI like a teammate they can delegate to. That shift, in a single session, is what the workshop is for.
Built around the work your team already does
Every workshop is customized before we arrive. The prompts, use cases, and exercises reflect your industry, your roles, and the actual tasks that eat your team’s time. Whether you need ChatGPT training for a marketing team, generative AI workflows for operations, or a corporate AI workshop covering all three major tools — the content is built around your team, not ours.
Writing and communications
Emails, proposals, reports, social posts, donor appeals, grant narratives — your team learns to draft faster and edit smarter, not hand work off entirely.
Research and summarization
Distilling long documents, synthesizing competitor or funder research, turning a pile of notes into a coherent brief — done in minutes, not hours.
Planning and structured thinking
Using AI as a thinking partner: project plans, meeting agendas, strategic frameworks, and decision documents that would normally take a full afternoon.
Prompt engineering basics
How to write prompts that actually work — and why most first attempts fail. Participants leave with a personal prompt library they can reuse immediately.
Data privacy and responsible use
What not to put in a prompt. How to handle client data, donor records, and sensitive information without creating risk for your organization.
Realistic time savings
We don’t promise AI will replace your team. We show them where it saves 30 minutes here, an hour there — and let that math speak for itself.

Simple from start to finish
We talk first
A 30-minute call to understand your team, your workflows, and what you want people to leave able to do. This shapes everything.
We build your session
Prompts, exercises, and examples are customized for your industry and roles before we arrive. Nothing generic.
We run the workshop
A hands-on session in Miami — at your office or a location of your choosing. Everyone leaves with tools they can use the next day.
Miami-based, which makes a difference
Online AI courses are easy to start and easy to abandon. The completion rates are low for a reason — there’s no accountability, no facilitator to answer the question that’s actually holding someone back, and no shared experience to build on. Most generic AI training Miami teams can find online doesn’t move the needle for that reason.
Running an AI workshop in person — in-house, with your actual team in the room — produces a different outcome. People help each other. Questions get answered in the moment. The person who’s been skeptical sees a colleague’s reaction and changes their mind.
Being Miami-based also means we understand the market you’re operating in — the bilingual realities of running a business in Brickell, Coral Gables, or Coconut Grove, the industries that are growing, and the pace at which local competitors are or aren’t adopting generative AI.

John Frydman
I’ve been doing digital marketing for over 25 years — SEO, content, paid media — for companies ranging from L’Oréal and Air France to small nonprofits that run on two-person teams. I came to AI the same way most people in my position did: skeptically, then seriously.
What I found was that the gap between “I’ve heard of ChatGPT” and “I actually use it every day to save time” is almost never about intelligence or motivation. It’s about having someone show you what’s possible in a context that feels relevant to you. That’s what these workshops are designed to do.
I’m based in Miami and I run all workshops in person. No virtual facilitators, no outsourced delivery.
FAQ
Do participants need any AI experience?
No. Most participants come in having played with ChatGPT once or twice, or not at all. The workshop is designed to meet people where they are. If your team has mixed experience levels — some people already using AI daily, others just starting — that’s fine too. A live session accommodates that range in a way a recorded course can’t.
What tools do participants need?
A laptop and a free account with at least one AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini). We’ll send setup instructions ahead of time. Paid accounts aren’t required, though they unlock features we’ll demonstrate. We cover all three tools during the session and help participants decide which fits their workflow best.
Can the workshop be held at our office?
Yes — that’s the preference. Running the workshop in your own space keeps the content grounded in your real environment, and it’s less logistical friction for your team. If your office doesn’t have a suitable meeting space, we can recommend Miami venues that work well for sessions of 4–20 people.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Two to three weeks is ideal — enough time to do a pre-call, customize the content for your team, and send prep materials. If you’re working on a tighter timeline, reach out anyway. Depending on availability, we may be able to accommodate a faster turnaround.
Is this a one-time session or part of an ongoing program?
The workshop is designed to stand alone — you should get immediate, practical value from a single session. Some organizations follow up with an AI audit to identify deeper workflow opportunities, or with AI fluency training for team members who want to go further. Neither is required to get value from the workshop.
Do you work with nonprofits specifically?
Yes. Nonprofits are a significant part of our client base. The workshop content for nonprofits focuses on grant writing, donor communications, board reports, volunteer coordination, and program documentation — the work that tends to consume the most time on small staff teams. See the AI workshop for nonprofits page for more detail and nonprofit-specific information.
